That&#8217;s according to PwC&#8217;s 2024 &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.pwc.com\/us\/en\/services\/consulting\/business-transformation\/digital-supply-chain-survey.html\">Digital Trends in Operations Survey<\/a>.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>PwC, the accounting and consulting firm, surveyed 600 operations and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.practicalecommerce.com\/category\/management\/inventory\">supply chain<\/a> executives in the U.S. in January and February 2024 across consumer markets, energy, utilities, mining, health services, pharmaceuticals, industrial products, and technology and telecommunications. The survey revealed a notable difference between the executives&#8217; expectations of new technology and the actual outcomes.<\/p>\n<div id=\"everviz-vqXkY_qWc\" class=\"everviz-vqXkY_qWc\"><script src=\"https:\/\/app.everviz.com\/inject\/vqXkY_qWc\/?v=10\" defer=\"defer\"><\/script><\/div>\n<p>&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Most survey respondents say their companies are somewhat involved in generative AI.<\/p>\n<div id=\"everviz-RXpfqGkOj\" class=\"everviz-RXpfqGkOj\"><script src=\"https:\/\/app.everviz.com\/inject\/RXpfqGkOj\/?v=6\" defer=\"defer\"><\/script><\/div>\n<p>&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Growth and cost reduction remain top priorities for respondents seeking digital operations solutions.
