That&#8217;s according to PwC&#8217;s fifth annual &#8220;Global Workforce Hopes and Fears Survey,&#8221; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pwc.com\/gx\/en\/issues\/workforce\/hopes-and-fears.html\">released<\/a> last week.<\/p>\n<p>In March 2024, PwC surveyed 56,600 individuals across 50 countries and territories who are employed or actively seeking work.<\/p>\n<p>Forty-five percent of respondents stated they had to learn new tools and technology in the previous 12 months to perform their job.<\/p>\n<div id=\"everviz-pg3pTpk6s\" class=\"everviz-pg3pTpk6s\"><script src=\"https:\/\/app.everviz.com\/inject\/pg3pTpk6s\/?v=6\" defer=\"defer\"><\/script><\/div>\n<p>&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Per the survey, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.practicalecommerce.com\/charts-economic-outlook-of-global-ceos\">CEOs<\/a> place a higher value on technology benefits than employees do.<\/p>\n<div id=\"everviz-RCf_1hJ8Y\" class=\"everviz-RCf_1hJ8Y\"><script src=\"https:\/\/app.everviz.com\/inject\/RCf_1hJ8Y\/?v=7\" defer=\"defer\"><\/script><\/div>\n<p>&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Most survey respondents had used generative AI (such as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.practicalecommerce.com\/how-to-train-chatgpt-for-better-responses\">ChatGPT<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.practicalecommerce.com\/ai-generators-for-images-videos-presentations-voice\">DALL-E<\/a>) at least once in the past year, although very few did so routinely.<\/p>\n<div id=\"everviz-KNsOu1vnR\" class=\"everviz-KNsOu1vnR\"><script src=\"https:\/\/app.everviz.com\/inject\/KNsOu1vnR\/?v=5\" defer=\"defer\"><\/script><\/div>\n<p>&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Moreover, nearly all of gen AI&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.practicalecommerce.com\/chrome-extensions-for-chatgpt-claude-gemini\">daily users<\/a> expect advantages while recognizing possible difficulties.<\/p>\n<div id=\"everviz-b2VpCZVmi\" class=\"everviz-b2VpCZVmi\"><script src=\"https:\/\/app.everviz.com\/inject\/b2VpCZVmi\/?v=7\" defer=\"defer\"><\/script><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Per a recent PwC survey, the global workforce is experiencing much upheaval from technology and other forces.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2426,"featured_media":1539220,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"footnotes":"","_wp_rev_ctl_limit":""},"categories":[58331],"tags":[58315],"class_list":["post-1539207","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-staffing","tag-charts",""],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO Premium plugin v25.2 (Yoast SEO v25.2) -
